Dan was visiting for coho salmon fly fishing and caught this beautiful male coho. It's a gorgeous specimen with spawning color and size. The best part is that he was fishing for cutthroat trout on a 4 weight when it hit. He fought it for over 10 minutes. It was an epic battle. Greg, Les, and Jackson visited us in Sitka for some coho salmon (silver) fishing this fall and fishing was fabulous. Great fights, beautiful scenery and a lot of laughs.
